Hurricanes coach Colin Cooper has named Piri Weepu on the bench for the Hurricanes clash against the Highlanders in Dunedin.
Weepu missed the Hurricanes 23-13 victory over the Brumbies due to the death of his grandfather .
Cooper has largely stuck with the team that secured their fourth win of the season and has made just two changes to his starting XV, both of them in the pack.
Karl Lowe is back on the openside flank which means that Nick Crosswell drops to the bench.
Bryn Evans replaces Jeremy Thrush in the second row and Cooper has left the backline unchanged.
