Matt Berquist retains the starting number 10 jersey for the Highlanders in their Super 14 clash against the Brumbies in Canberra on Saturday.
Injuries continues to plague the Highlanders with Tom Donnelly, Clint Newland, Sean Romans, Michael Hobbs,Jason Macdonald and Kenny Lynn all being ruled out for this week's clash.
Bronson Murray comes in for Clint Newland and James Paterson takes the wingers jersey and Ben Smith has moved to 13 after playing on the wing last week.
A slight consolation for the Highlanders is that Jamie Mackintosh returns to rugby this weekend playing for his Southland Club team Woodlands.
