The Hurricanes have won three of their last six matches but the last three have all ended with a Canes win.
The Reds on the other hand have won four of their last six matches but lost last week.

We are waiting for the kick off.
The match is underway.
1.00: The Reds start well showing that they want to run the ball. The Hurricanes go in high with a tackle and a penalty is awarded to the Reds.
2.00: Cooper takes the kick from almost the touchline but misses.
4.00: Rodney So'oialo enjoys a good run after opening up the Reds defence but gets caught.
5.00: The Reds get the maul going which gains them about 15m. They recycle but as they get into the 25 they give away a penalty.
7.00: The Reds are winning the territory stats already but the Hurricanes are managing to keep them out.
9.00: The Hurricanes win a line out and then go to the boot. Hynes gathers the ball and boots it to safety.
10.00: After a succesful line out by the Hurricanes they spread the ball wide and stretch the Reds defence - Tamati Ellison opens up a bit of space for Hosea Gear who dodges the line and passes to Cory Jane who scores.
12.00: The Hurricanes miss the conversion.
13.00: Piri Weepus sells a dummy and darts through the Reds defence. He gains goot ground and the Canes get to within 5m. They recycle but they Reds hold them out. The Reds (Scott Higginbotham) do however give away a penalty.
15.00: Weepu takes the penalty kick and nails it.
17.00: The Reds hit back and Genia opens up the Hurricanes defence. He breaks and passes to Scott Higginbotham who runs for the line and scores.
18.00: Quade Cooper nails the conversion.
22.00: The Hurricanes patiently work the ball into the Reds half. They put together 10 phases. Karl Lowe almost gets them to the 25m line but Thrush gives away a penalty. Cooper clears the ball.
24.00: Ma'a Nonu gives away a penalty for a (fairly harsh) high tackle on Quade Cooper. The Reds kick for touch.
25.00: The Reds recycle the ball from a ruck and they send the inside ball to Rod Davies who darts straight through at serious pace and scores for the Reds.
26.00: Quade Cooper nails the conversion and the Reds lead.
27.00: The Reds have a worry as Van Humphries goes down injured. He may have to come off.
28.00:Humphries stays on and the game restarts. The Reds kick behind the Hurricanes and Will Chambers flies off and chases the ball - there are two Canes with him and he just manages to gather the ball and beats the two Canes and scores!
29.00: Quade Cooper nails the conversion and suddenly the Reds are pulling away.
31.00: Genia opens up the Canes defence again but as he gets caught Davies chases but looks like he has pulled a hamstring. The Canes turn the ball over but Brando Va'aulu comes on for Davies.
32.00: The Hurricanes give away a penalty at the ruck. The Reds kick for touch and set up a 5m line which they lose.
33.00: The Hurricanes clear.
36.00: The Hurricanes slowly but surely pick away at the Reds. They get the ball to the 25m line. Nonu gets stopped then Weepu.
37.00: As the Canes go forward the ball goes to ground and the Reds boot the ball upfield and the Canes have to start picking away at the Reds all over again.
40.00: Jason Kawau goes in and tries to bash his way through the Reds defence but gives away a penalty. The Reds clear the ball but the Canes get the ball as the siren sounds. They keep the ball alive and find space on the wing. Jane makes good ground by selling a dummy and passes to Hosea Gear who scores ! That was thanks to pace.
42.00: Piri Weepu misses the conversion.

The second half is underway.
41.00: The Reds start awfully. Andrew Shaw puts in a dangerous tackle and is shown a yellow card.
43.00: The Hurricanes use their numbers and drive for the line. They get a good drive on and they drive over the line. Bodies everywhere so we go upstairs to see if they scored.
44.00: No try. There is however a 5m scrum for the Hurricanes.
45.00: Hurricanes win the scrum and spread the ball wide. The Reds get over and cover. Canes change sides and continue to attack. They go again and again until the Canes knock on.
47.00: Genia knocks on and the Canes pounce. They run the ball into the corner and Hosea Gear darts for the corner and scores. Great counter try.
48.00: Piri Weepu takes the conversion from the touch line and nails it.
50.00: Watch out the Reds, the Hurricanes are on a roll. Paterson gets the intercept and the Hurricanes recycle the ball to the other side and Tamati Ellison scores the bonus point try.
52.00: Piri Weepu adds the conversion and the Hurricanes are back in front.
54.00: The Reds get a penalty but Quade Cooper takes the kick and misses.
56.00; Cruden kicks high and Peter Hynes goes for the ball and completely misses.
58.00: The Hurricanes are playing with real confidence. They move the ball to the backline and Nonu gets over the gain line. Nonu passes to Gear who goes over for his third.
60.00: Piri Weepu takes the conversion from the touch line and nails it.
63.00: The Reds are by no means giving up. Genia has a little run and makes good ground. As the Reds go forward the win a penalty in the Hurricanes 25.
64.00: The Reds win the scrum and run it through their back line. Ioane comes close to scoring. The Reds recycle and go again.
65.00: Cooper tries the grubber but the ball goes into touch. Solid Canes defence.
68.00: Peter Hynes gives away a penalty in their half so Piri Weepu will kick for posts.
69.00: Andrew Hore comes off as Dan Coles comes on and Weepu nails the penalty extending the lead.
73.00: The Hurricanes pop the ball out of the back of the scrum and David Smith snipes and scores in the corner.
74.00: Weepu nails the conversion for a convincing lead.
77.00: The Reds work the ball into the Hurricanes 25 but as they get to about 5m out they knock on. Genia shows his frustration.
78.00: The Reds are still looking for that bonus point try.
79.00: The Hurricanes are pinning the Reds back near the half way line.
80.00: The siren goes ...the Hurricanes lose the ball and the Reds look to keep the ball alive. They use the ball well going through the phases. Genia gets dragged down and the Reds go again and again. Cooper finds space. Again and again the Reds keep going. They get to the 25m line.
82.00: 13 phases and the Canes get a penalty. They kick it out- thats it.
